Dominic Dicks is a self taught artist who has undertaken informal training in art. He began painting after a career in public service with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.Dominic Dicks original art evokes the rugged beauty of the Newfoundland and Labrador landscape.Dominic Dicks typically paints acrylic on canvas followed by the production of limited edition prints. However, original artwork is available for purchase if desired. In addition, Dominic also accepts art commissions. Dominic Dicks, son of a lighthouse keeper was born (1937) in Tides Point, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. He now resides in St. John's.
